Meet the Creators

Prys is a transgressive multidisciplinary artist. Known for her dreamlike, hyper-surreal photography, she is also an accomplished performance artist. Crowned Miss Exotic Oregon in 2015, her body becomes a sensual instrument and mischievous conduit of Creation—dancing onstage at Mary’s Club and joyfully pushing boundaries through wild burlesque sets. Her work explores identity through embodiment, unpredictability, glamour, and humor.

Whether hawk-eye focused behind the camera or long-hair windblown beneath the spotlight, Prys centers process above outcome. For her, the work is not about narrative so much as honoring The Lesson—integrating cycles of birth, death, and rebirth that echo throughout her art and life.

Currently exploring the Clown archetype, she opens a strange and tender pocket within the modern world—painted slightly sideways, where playfulness and beauty coexist with the absurd. Deeply spiritual, Prys lives inside a curious experiment of her own making, guided by Ram Dass’s mantra: “Treat everyone you meet like God in drag.” She is also a collaborator and founding force behind Diviiine Magazine

Penny Dreadful moved from a small town in Colorado to Portland at age 18. Throughout her life, Penny has expressed herself through painting, drawing, graphic design, music, dance, and a devotion to fashion. She curates an eclectic vintage wardrobe, crafting ever-evolving looks that mirror her moods and inner world. In recent years, she launched a vintage clothing venture, Pennies Vintage.

Penny first stepped onstage at Mary’s Club in 2022 and has remained the youngest member of the family ever since—as well as the tallest, towering over fellow dancers and most grown men at 6 feet (around 6’8” in heels).

Inspired by legendary entertainers across the ages, Penny is emerging as a captivating presence in burlesque. Her performances pay homage to the icons, while revealing a style entirely her own, and leaving Portland’s nightlife spellbound. She’s earned the unmistakable tagline “Longest Legs in the West” and continues designing new acts and opulent costumes that shimmer hypnotically in the spotlight.

Penny is also one of the creators of DIViiiNE Magazine, uplifting and celebrating the sex worker community through her artistic vision.

Sunny Day was born in Portland, Oregon, a lover of dance, performance, story, and all manner of creative expression - playing the family ham. A student from age 5 of ballet and modern dance, and all things art, Sunny found solace in learning how to tell a story with their whole body and spirit.

Sunny earned a BFA and MFA in Studio Art, transgressively playing with humor and absurdity. Later influenced by their 14 year stripping career on the Magic Gardens and Mary’s Club stages, as well as by the iconic career of noted sex worker and artist, Annie Sprinkle, their practice evolved from applied fine art and craft, to a focus on performance, healing modalities, and authoring tales of memoir-based, ecosexual erotica. After a third, “retirement” from stripping, Sunny wrote an otherworldly testament of the archetypal spectrum of Clown, Fool, and Trickster. They believe there is a bit of the erotic and clown in each of us, just waiting to be tickled out of dormancy.

They cohost a local, monthly Erotica Open Mic, are an alum of Under the Eagle’s Wing Mentorship & Apprenticeship, contribute to the art collective Expanded Draught, and nurture a community herbalism practice. Most recently, they tend a Substack account for their readers to indulge in tales of the mystic, surreal, and erotic. They are a founding editor for the DIViiiNE Magazine publication that celebrates the legacy and labor of local Sworker legends.
