Our Mission
celebrates the power, distinctiveness, and inherent value of SWorkers without reservation. Our creative mission is to elevate and accentuate the voices of women and femmes within our community, offering amusement and deeper insight with each issue. Every seasonal volume features a distinguished selection of Portland-based, in-person SWorkers and industry professionals, providing a consensually exclusive glimpse into their lives, passions, hobbies, and motivations for pursuing this unique and ancient career path. Drawing from our combined years of industry experience, we aim to dismantle the patriarchal themes and biases that have historically affected our community, providing constructive ways to honor the creative contributions offered to the collective culture. Our inaugural volume provides an historical overview of Mary’s Club, “Portland’s first topless,” the oldest strip club in Portland, Oregon—nearly pre-dating the birth control pill—and one of the oldest strip clubs in the country. DIViiiNE magazine is dedicated to offering shameless entertainment from season to season, providing the healing, humorous, and loving space to educate, enthuse, and entertain the broad ecosystem of strip club professionals and their devoted patrons.
